Let Malawians judge JB ON May 20th, Chikwemba deployment a big lose for the PP

Browsing through Malawi News on the Internet and I came across a story and it read, “JB rewards Chikwemba with Japan Diplomatic Post”. Well if this rumor is true indeed then PP is heading for a disaster. The People’s Party and JB herself cannot afford to have one of her most talented man on the ground leave the country for duties which have nothing to do with the party. Joseph Chikwemba together with Geoffrey Kachale has and I believe are still playing an important role in attracting people to the PP especially on the youth wing. I remember at some point these two gentlemen could bring at least ten or more new youth recruits each to the PP when it just started.

My question still my fellow Malawians is that; since the elections are near who is going to fill the shoes of this PP strongest man, who is going to be Geoff’s partner in the perfect team they made and the results are there for us to see, look how many people especially the young adults from various backgrounds and industries joined the PP. Even I myself I never had an interest in joining the PP before until Mr Chikwemba convinced me together with Mr Kachale and look at me now I am happily serving my nation and my efforts towards building the PP are accountable and I remain loyal. Imagine how many young people we see today having their say in running of our country, even Atupele Muluzi has got enough courage as youth to stand, why? Because Mr Chikwemba and Kachale opened up the doors for us the youth.
My opinion is that Mr Chikwemba was supposed to be given a ministerial post of maybe deputizing Mr Sostern Gwengwe or anything ministerial or even be a Deputy or Principal secretary of some sort so that he can still be able to use his talent of mobilizing the party and unshaken his partnership with Geoff. I am sorry to say but I do not see anyone filling his shoes and doing the tremendous job that these two gentlemen do. Well I saw it with my own two eyes and I don’t think Japan is a wise move for such talent, its like parking talent.

But anyway who I’m I to judge, who I’m I to add my opinion as I am just a mere defector commenting outside the PP gates. The leadership really has a plan here, they know what they are doing that I am sure of.
All this resignations, defections and crises in our country, it was meant to be like that as we transforming from a poor country to a developing country. The citizens as well as the international community will blame or hate the leadership as much as they will but things could have been worse if he was still alive. Remember that not everything we plan can go our way, the only thing to do is to try again. As for the May 20th voting, let Malawians judge JB, let Malawians decide remember that a twisted knee hates when putting it into normality.

God Bless Malawi, God Bless JB, God Bless the PP, God Bless JC & God Bless GK and RK

Let us put everything else behind and unite towards making this country a better place to live in.

Thank you

Right Honourable MP_Mada Commander in Chief of MCA wrote; Psalm 34:12-14 'Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.'

- Here are the keys to a long and a good life.
- Watch what you say and always be truthful.
- Turn from evil and choose to do good.
- Actively seek to live at peace with others and pursue peace.

PRAYER: Lord, I desire to live a life where I will see 'many good days'. Help me not to do things that would jeopardize and hinder this great possibility that You say can be a reality in my life. Amen.

Enjoy this new week

Good day my brothers and sisters

Uniting all Malawians in South Africa under the People’s Party South African Wing (PP SA Wing)

Prior to 1964 or before independency, Malawi exported labour to South African mines according to the colonial structures and this continued during the Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda’s regime from 1964 until 1992. Malawi was the only African country ruled by a black man to maintain relations with South Africa during the Apartheid era. Dr Hastings Banda was the first black President ever to visit South Africa in 1971 and the first chief of any foreign state to come since England's King George VI's visit in 1947. During his visit, Banda received a 21 gun salute and an official welcome from President Jacobus Johannes Fouché. Malawians were viewed as important workers in the South African mines due to their “skills, work discipline and the lack of militancy by the Nelson Mandela regime in 1994.

From 1988 to 1992, around 13,000 Malawian migrant laborers were forcefully repatriated out of South Africa. The official explanation for these repatriations was that 200 Malawians had tested positive for HIV in the previous two years; however, many believe that it was due the need for retrenchment of labourers during a crisis in South Africa's mining industry.[2] The Malawi government made efforts to set straight its stance on South Africa by hosting ANC leader Nelson Mandela. A visit which was made possible due to efforts by Malawian diplomats resident in South Africa, including acting Ambassador Percy Kachipande. It was revealed shortly afterwards, that Kamuzu Banda had been secretly assisting the ANC during the apartheid era. The Malawi government pledged election support and continued support to the ANC government and diplomatic relations continued between the two countries.
During this period from 1964 to 1994, some Malawians left the mines and went to seek employment elsewhere for so many reasons, such as;
• They did not like the living conditions at the mines
• Searched for greener pastures
• Some had skills and knowledge different to the jobs offered at the mines
Those Malawians simply entered well into the South African communities, found employment, developed families and moved forward with their lives. Even during the time 200 Malawians were retrenched from the mines and sent back home, a lot of Malawians remained as well. Some of this elders have never even visited Malawi ever since and they are amongst us but fail to come out and express their origins due to the lack of Malawi communities here in South Africa.

So they is a need for an organization to be developed which will be in charge of providing that much needed extra hand to the Malawi government’s representatives here in South Africa. To be in charge of monitoring the wellbeing of our citizens here in South Africa and work hand in hand with this representatives in making sure that this elders are treated equally with any Malawian in the world.
To add to the above, Malawians travel to South Africa for so many reasons, a big example would be some Malawians who relocate to South Africa for;
• Studies in South African schools
• Business
• Employment
• Following and staying with their parents or grandparents who travelled to South Africa to work in the mines between 1964 to 1994 but then established themselves in the South African communities
• Tourism and so many other reasons a Malawian can come up with to get that ticket and travel to South Africa

So my fellow citizens, as one of those children of the ‘Matchonas’ and currently residing here in South Africa, I Madalitso Kambaika and my fellow citizens here in South Africa who share the same reasons why we are here in the first place and we have the same vision. We feel the time has arrived when we start uniting all Malawians here in South Africa under one organization. That organization is our ruling party brothers and sisters, The People’s Party (Malawi).

Allow us to introduce to you the People’s Party SA Wing (PP SA Wing). After viewing the policies of the The People’s Party (Malawi), the strategies and programmes of the People’s Party (Malawi) and the President Dr Joyce Banda’s ability of recognizing the Malawians in the Diaspora, The UK, USA and other parts of the world, we are more than confident that PP SA Wing will take the Malawians here in South Africa to their dream destination while we will continue to work hand in hand with our mother political party in Malawi under the three pillars of Unity, Equity and Development.

Thank you, God Bless PP, PP SA Wing, Dr Joyce Banda and the entire PP NEC, members and supporters and not forgetting the entire Malawi government and their representatives here in South Africa.

Good Afternoon Comrades,

Hope you are well

I thank you for coming through to last Sunday, the 24th of February 2013 General meeting which was held at Sandton City, Nelson Mandela square from 12:30 to 5pm.

I would like to inform you that we could not hold a meeting this week due to the nature of problems we are solving which we communicated with our elders in our mother party the past week. I believe that by the end of the coming week all issues could have been resolved and we can hold meetings as normal to shape the movement’s future.

I regret any inconvenience caused but they is no gathering was so ever in the name of our movement or the party concerned.
Thank you and God bless you

Full programmes and agendas of the next meeting will be discussed by the executive committee and emailed to you.

Kind Regards
Madalitso Kambaika
