Africa Liberal Network

Africa Liberal Network The network is a regional organisation of Liberal International.

The Africa Liberal Network (ALN) was launched in June 2003, as a non-profit alliance of liberal democratic political parties, movements, think-tanks and individuals operating in Africa. The network’s vision is that of a prosperous and integrated Africa, of flourishing democracies, that are at peace with one another, in which every person has the right and the opportunity to fulfill their highest,

truest expression of themselves, as a human being.

47 members across 30 countries from the continent compliment the objectives of the network. Those being the promotion of liberal democratic values and principles such as the rule of law, democratic governance based on free and fair elections with peaceful transition, ensuring religious, gender, and minority rights, fighting corruption, and the promotion of inclusive free market economies.
