TODAY: Ward 23 ANCYL held a sanitary pad drive at Xhobani Primary School. We served 200 learners with a pack of pads and words of encouragement. Cde Wh**ey, our branch secretary and STT Fundraiser, was present and led the program alongside our acting Chairperson, Cde Hloahloa. The program was joined by Cde Nobantu, representing SANCO, and ANCWL John Blom Ward 23, BEC member and branch treasurer, Cde Nosie Nosiphiwo, not forgetting our ANCYL RWC member, Cde Phumlani Mdingi.

After the school visit, we closed the day by doing door-to-door. That's how our Yellow Friday ended. With a bang.

The ANC's work is visible, and the volunteers keep raising the flag high. Today, the Community Hall VD of Ward 23 was on the ground, supported by SANCO and the Youth League. It is yet another fruitful day of collecting information about our community's needs and where we should improve. This is the kind of conversation we need to be having in order to know where and how to fix our local government as we prepare for the local government elections. Iqabane Ali Pheli'moya. Amandla!!
