A word of thanks to John Blom, leadership, and Volunteers of the A.N.C. Revolutionary greetings, comrades.
On the eve of June 16, we would like to reflect on the continued struggle of the Youth in our Country and in our organization. Indeed, the Youth of '76 had a mark in shaping our future in the country and in our branch (John Blom branch).

That is why, as the branch of John Blom, we appreciate your efforts as the Youth Structure, and we would like to wish the John Blom Youth League a continued Happy Youth Month. We will support all the Youth League programs as the Mother Body. I would also like to thank the Leadership of the Branch and all Volunteers who participated in our programs, starting from the Party agent Workshop and the public meeting, which was held last Sunday. The unity in John Blom is of importance. We are an exemplary branch in the region; let's keep it that way.

We still have a long way to go until the end of the elections on November 26. We require maximum participation from you all, Comrades. Your efforts are highly appreciated.

NOW: Ward 23 held its Community meeting, where community members gathered to choose their upcoming Cllr for the next Local Government Elections on the 4th of November 2026. With the majority of votes, the current running Cllr and the Chairperson of the John Blom Branch, Cde. Lungile Mpupu has been selected. Congratulations are in order, Chair.

Today: ANC, Wedela Cluster, fully supports our national club, , in representing us well at the opening of the first group match of the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 against Mexico. Kick-Off time is at 9pm. Wear your Bafana Bafana Regalia as we unite in victory as South Africans.

Thanks to Merafong City Local Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr Nozuko Best for hosting this event free of charge for the communities of Merafong City.

The match will be screened at Carletonville Civic Centre.
