Yesterday afternoon, our crews responded to a major fire at a chemical factory in Mogale City.

The call came in at 15h45 on 2 June.

Through the night, our teams worked tirelessly to contain and manage the incident, finally standing down at 05h00 on 3 June.

Incidents like these remind us that fire doesn't keep business hours. It doesn't wait.

And neither do we.

We commend every crew member involved for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment throughout the operation.

From hands-on demonstrations to real conversations around emergency response, these moments are about more than education - theyโ€™re about building awareness, confidence, and respect for safety from a young age.
