'Zingelwayo Fire Protection was established in 2009. Specializing in the application of fire retardants on thatch, wood, mine timber, mine cabling, electrical cabling, and various textiles. Our products are locally produced and have been tested and approved by a third party. We use non-toxic water-based fire-retardant chemicals which are eco-friendly making them environmentally safe.

Our fabulous team hard at work😊, using a high pressured fire retardant spray created specifically to spray the chemicals deep into the thatch to ensure that all the grass is drenched with the chemicals to protect it from fire.

This water-based formula is applied to the thatch internally and externally and, whilst not preventing a flame from catching, it drastically reduces the chances of the fire growing and the rate in which the flames would normally spread.
