ANC GREATER JOHANNESBURG YOUTH LEAGUE

We note with great concern messages that have been circulating and rallying our people to a day of action around the reshuffling, especially that of the former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan.

We remain resolute that we will implement Radical Economic Transformation agenda under Cde Malusi Gigaba. We trust that the current Finance Minister understands the need for free education now and economic freedom in our lifetime.

It is unfortunate that those who have been making the noise about this issue are opportunists who want to destabilize the country and protray it as a country in crisis.

We call on young revolutionary defenders of the movement to come out in their numbers and defend our country and The Revolutionary Movement of Oliver Tambo, Nelson Mandela and Sisulu against regime change agitators and reactionary forces disguised as pressure groups.

Those that think they will bring Jozi to a stand still, will be met on the streets. Whatever it takes we will defend the Movement and the Country like those who paid the highest price during the apartheid and colonialism. We shall never be recolonised again.

● No Arab Spring or CIA tactics will succeed in our life time.
● No underhand Askari tactics will prevail.
● No false downgrades by manipulative agencies will deter or will.

Ours is a revolutionary cause of Economic Freedom in our lifetime, getting our land back will be our 1st point of call.
