YOUR CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS AND LINGUISTICS RIGHTS MATTER.

If you experience or witness cultural, religious and linguistic rights violations within your community, do not remain silent.

The CRL Rights Commission with the mandate to protect and promote the cultural, religious, and linguistic community rights, provides a platform for individuals and communities to report.

Complaints may be lodged when communities believe their cultural, religious and linguistic rights are threatened, denied, or unfairly limited.

The Commission will assess all complaints and take appropriate action and investigations in line with its constitutional mandate.

STEPS TO TAKE BEFORE SENDING YOUR SON FOR INITIATION!

Initiation remains one of the most revered cultural rites of passage within our communities, symbolising a sacred transition from boyhood to manhood.

For many, it is a source of profound identity and cultural pride. However, the CRL Rights Commission reminds parents and families that this rite must be practiced within the bounds of safety and the law.

We must work together to eliminate the preventable tragedies associated with illegal initiation schools.

Protect the rite; protect the initiate.
