Monday the 09th Mar 2026, the Recruitment and Membership portfolio held it's first meeting, chaired by the Branch Deputy Secretary, Cde Vatiswa Mahlatshana. Central to their programme is ensuring that the newly recruited members do swiflty get politically inducted 🖤💚💛

The reconfiguration of the alliance and state power programme by the Political Education Sub-Committee, led by Cde Zandisile Dumakusile was very successful and progressive. Our very own Cde Jenny Shreiner did justice in presenting and facilitating it. The discussions were robust and insightful 🖤💚💛

On the 06 Mar 2026, the ANC Pixley ka Isaka (Ward 60) and Harry Themba Gwala (Ward 59) Branches in Zone 12 held a Bilateral meeting. This was as a necessary meeting as the two Branches/Wards are connected and neighbours. Part of the discussions was the demarcation drafts, strengthening branch to branch relations and governance related matters. This is a significant step towards ensuring that the ANC renewal is realized while ensuring stability at governance level 🖤💚💛

The first Branch General Meeting (BGM) of the year. More than 100 members were in attendance. The prioritization of the service delivery and the Election work were more than emphasized by the gathering 🖤💚💛

On the 12 Feb 2026, the BEC meeting was convened, the planning and revamping of the POA continued, accompanied by the continous assessment of the service delivery issues, and cultivating solutions in the process. The status of the organization and it's leagues is also of the utmost importance 🖤💚💛

On Monday morning the 09th Feb 2026, the ANCYL in ward 60 joined Gauteng Provincial Treasurer of ANCYL in Gauteng Cde Samkelisiwe Khumalo, joined by ANC Gauteng Provincial Fundraiser, Cde Tasneem Motara, delivered school shoes through the Back to School Programme, restoring dignity and easing the burden on working-class families. Putting learners first and translating our commitment into real action. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾🖤💚💛❤️

On Sunday the 1st Feb 2026, the ANC Safety and Security Sub-Committee, led by Cde Nolitha Mbangeni, held it's first meeting. The main purpose was to properly plan and ensure that the POA is refined and it is aligned to the one of the Branch. The safe community is our priority 🖤💛💚
