Deep dive into fynbos magic

Photographer and Hermanus Botanical Society member Mike Murray is inviting newcomers to discover the extraordinary world of fynbos during the Heritage Weekend Spring Flower Show on 25 September. His two-hour presentation explores how plants survive nutrient-poor soils, strong coastal winds and challenging conditions, while creating spectacular spring displays. Limited to just 12 people, the session includes a field guide to local flora and fauna, offering an accessible introduction to the Cape Floral Kingdom and its unique natural heritage in Hermanus.
