OVERSTRAND ESKOM PETITION REACHES 4,000 SIGNATURES IN UNDER 24 HOURS ⚡✍️
Within less than 24 hours, the Eskom petition has reached 4,000 signatures. I encourage everyone in the Overstrand who is currently affected, has been affected, or may in future be affected by Eskom-related issues to sign the petition.

All adults within a household are encouraged to sign individually, as every signature strengthens the call for urgent attention and long-term intervention.

We need to show, in no uncertain terms, that our region requires better attention and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Once again, I would like to thank the local Eskom teams who have been working tirelessly and relentlessly to try and restore power under extremely difficult conditions. Their efforts on the ground are appreciated.

I would also like to remind all residents that the municipality has no authority or operational control over any Eskom infrastructure. We remain dependent on Eskom for technical intervention and restoration processes.

We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation shown by residents during this challenging period.
