Today is World African Wild Dog Day. Let's be honest about where things stand.
Fewer than 6,600 African wild dogs remain in the wild, making them Africa's most endangered large carnivore. Their decline is driven by habitat fragmentation, disease, snaring, and road deaths.
They need space. Connected space. And conservation teams that can monitor them across vast, roadless terrain.
