The circulating advert about the Learners license programme is indeed true however the is a little bit missing information about the selection criteria.
Below is the additional information;
50% of the participants must have matric certificates
70% must be Youth
30% must be between 18-45.

Those who do not have matric certificates are still allowed to participate, those who have matric must provide matric certificates.

Greetings ward 40 residents

Today 09 Nov 2022 the Cllr was doing a site inspection at Luyolo housing project, the project was halted due to some violence as the Cllr reported in public meeting that some people wanted to take over project by force and shot some workers in the process. That caused the project to delay.
After some consultation with provincial government and community leaders.

We are happy to report that the project is now back on track, the company (Varanani) has commenced with the work.

CITY CALL FOR Grants-In-Aid APPLICATIONS

the city's arts and culture branch of the social development and early childhood development department has made available almost R3.3 Million to qualifying Organisations in the arts, culture and heritage sector.

Applications are open as we speak, Ward 40 Organisations under the above mentioned sector must go to subcouncil 14 in order to get application forms.

Closing date is 2 December 2022 at 17:00.

Good day ward 40 Youth

Those who never participated in this program will have another chance. Since people will be required to use a link instead of submitting CV's at school, my office will be opened to assist with applying online or alternatively you can apply the link provided.
Applications will be opened on the 22 August 2022-12 September 2022.

As many of you are aware that Cllr has set aside R300 000 in his ward allocation budget for grant in aid.
This will benefit many NGO's and NPO's in our ward as they will be able to purchase whatever equipment they need.

I therefore urge you to register your NGO's and NPO's before the end of this year so that you can be considered for this great opportunity early next year.
