The author of Life of a Councillor has proudly donated copies of the book to the Makhanda Parliamentary Constituency Office as a contribution towards political education, leadership development, and strengthening democratic governance.
The donation aims to provide current and aspiring public representatives, community leaders, students, and members of the public with practical insights into the realities, challenges, and responsibilities of local government leadership.

Through this contribution, the author hopes to encourage greater public participation, accountability, and understanding of the role councillors play in advancing service delivery and community development.

The Parliament of South Africa established Parliamentary Constituency Offices to strengthen the connection between Parliament and communities, promoting public participation and access to democratic processes.
