The Speaker of Council giving the opening address at the Inaugural Boy's Sector Parliament held at the Alberton Civic Centre today.

She described the Boy's Sector Parliament as a safe space for the boy child to voice out their concerns, frustrations and creative ideas on topical issues that they would ordinarily not openly talk about.

Today the Speaker of Council, Cllr. Nthabiseng Tshivhenga, led a team
of officials on a walkabout at the Tshipi Noto Intermediate School, where she assessed the current state of the school’s infrastructure and grounds.

Included in the visit was the handover of sanitary pads to the school’s acting principal.
