The weather has been changing in our favour! With a 60% chance of rain from 12-2pm tomorrow Friday, the cold front seems to be passing and weather clearing at 3pm and partly clouded for the rest of the evening with a slight chance of drizzle at 7pm, but clear for the rest of the evening again. So we are excited to be on track for hosting the Entrepreneur Night Market as per plan! We are asking the community to come out and support this event, with many fantastic stalls, food, good coffee, hot chocolate, a movie for the kids starting around 7:30 pm, which will be in the inside hall area (you are welcome to bring blanket and pillow for the kids to be more comfortable while watching). The movie that will be screened is called Miniscule: The Valley of the Lost Ants, R10 per person. The virtual reality stall is bound to be a great hit. A new experience to try for young and old! Come have a glass of wine and enjoy a warm meal by the fire. We look forward to seeing you all there!!!!

A fantastic event for the whole family... The Entrepreneurs Night Market, 3 June 2016 at the Botanical Tea Garden. Everything from 2nd hand toys to handmade hunting rifles for kids, tombola stalls, face painting, DIY sets, live entertainment show, after sunset movie for kids which will give the adults an opportunity to enjoy wine tasting and sales from Jakkalsvlei and live musicians. Hot food for a fireside supper, pudding stalls, pancakes, banting stall, essential oils, dried fruits and pestos and so much more. Proud in supporting local and entrepreneurship and building community - everyone welcome!

THANK YOU to all those who came out to support our local entrepreneurs! Our first ever "night market" here in George!!! A huge thank you to the Bontanical Gardens for hosting us at the tea gardens and to all the stalls for setting up and showcasing your products. The food stalls were mostly sold out by the end of the evening and kept us all well fed. We had a fantastic evening together with a real sense of community. The atmosphere was perfect! Please comment and provide feedback for the organisers. We are also looking for a main sponsor for this market and sponsors for spotlights and sound system on the evening. Thanks everyone! We look forward to many more... This market is open to all entrepreneurs.

It is a beautiful day for the market! Starting at 4 pm, come enjoy some fantastic products and goodies to eat... To be held at the "Tea gardens" right next to the Botanical Gardens, Caledon Street. Support your local entrepreneurs!!!

Cookies, rusks, candy floss, second hand books, toys, educational resources, plants, flavoured kombucha and kefir drinks, home-made gingerbeer, fresh bread and rotti's, cold meats, pesto's, play dough, sweets and treats, lucky packets and toffee apples, biltong, peanut butter, pickled onions, dried fruit, cellphone charms, wood, knitting and crafts, body and bath handmade products, lip balm, Jars of Stuff, jewellery, wooden things and activities such as mosaics, sand art, bow and arrow shooting, cupcake decorating and even more... It is going to be a super event. Come and support us, March 4th 16h00 at the restaurant next to the Botanical Gardens (now called Botanical Brew). They will be hosting a fireside supper (potjie/boeri rolls) for us to enjoy.

We are hosting a talk on homeschooling for all those who are interested in finding out more. An opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and hear more about the process. The guest speaker is Willemien Kruger who will be with us on Sunday, 30th August 2015, 2 - 4pm. There is no cost, but any donations to cover her petrol will be appreciated!
