Drakensberg Secondary School is proud to announce the appointment of its newly elected Learner Representatives, with Nqubeko Hlongwane elected as the Chairperson.
The election process, held recently, reflects the school’s commitment to collaboration and shared leadership.

RCL's play an essential role in strengthening communication between students and management, ensuring that learner voices are effectively represented in matters concerning teaching, learning, and school development.

Acting Principal, Mr DM Naidoo, congratulated the newly elected representatives and emphasised the importance of teamwork within the institution. He said, “We look forward to working closely with the newly elected representatives to continue fostering a positive and progressive school environment.”

Drakensberg Secondary School remains committed to cultivating a culture of respect, accountability, and academic excellence. The school community extends its congratulations to the RCL's and wishes them every success in their leadership journey.

NOTICE TO PARENTS / GUARDIANS
Drakensberg Secondary School

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This serves to inform you that learner progress reports will be issued tomorrow, Monday, 08 December 2025, from 08:00am at the school hall.

To ensure smooth and time-efficient distribution, we kindly request that you know your child’s grade and class division when collecting the report.

Please note that all outstanding textbooks must be returned before reports are issued. Where books are lost, payment for the stipulated amount must be made immediately to the admin clerk at the office who will then issue a proof of payment for educators to check in order for the report to be released.

Any other issues arising with be dealt with accordingly.
