Uma wonke umsebenzi wokulungisa usuqediwe, kuzomenywa i-PSL ukuba izohlola inkundla okokugcina.

The IFP King Cetshwayo District Secretary, Hon. Cllr T.S. Gumede, yesterday donated 50 pairs of school shoes to needy children in Ward 9 at DGGMI Church, uMhlathuze Village. This brings the total to 100 pairs of school shoes donated to children in different communities through his annual community assistance programme.

The programme was also honoured by the presence of the current Mayor and IFP Mayoral Candidate for the City of uMhlathuze, Hon. Cllr Xolani Ngwezi, who also donated food parcels to families in need.

Cllr Gumede said assisting children who do not have school shoes is close to his heart, as he understands how difficult it can be for a child to attend school without proper shoes. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the programme and supporting children from disadvantaged families.

The IFP uMhlathuze Mayoral Candidate and current Mayor, Hon. Cllr Xolani Ngwezi, was warmly welcomed today by the Ekwethabeni Lutheran Church in Ngwelezane.

Cllr Ngwezi thanked the church leadership and congregation for their continued prayers and support, and asked them to continue praying for peaceful and successful upcoming elections.

As part of his visit, Mayor Ngwezi also donated food parcels to families in need, reaffirming his commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community.

The church expressed its gratitude to Mayor Ngwezi for his continued support and thanked him for his leadership and service to the people of uMhlathuze.

The IFP uMhlathuze Mayoral Candidate and current Mayor, Hon. Xolani Ngwezi, today attended the funeral of IFP member Mrs Zungu in Ngwelezane.

Accompanied by Ward 27 Councillor Candidate Ms Phasha Bhuthu, Hon. Ngwezi extended heartfelt condolences to the Zungu family, friends, community and IFP members.

He also paid tribute to Mrs Zungu for her steadfast loyalty to the IFP, particularly during difficult times, saying her dedication to the party will always be remembered.

The church expressed its appreciation to Mayor Ngwezi for his leadership and commitment to serving the people of uMhlathuze with honour, humility and humanity.
