GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEURIAL DAY – MARKET DAY

10 September 2026

Wood And Raw Primary School successfully hosted its Grade 7 Entrepreneurial Day (Market Day) on 10 September 2026. The programme provided our Grade 7 learners with an exciting opportunity to put their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills into practice through the selling and marketing of different products.

The day was a remarkable success, characterised by enthusiasm, creativity, teamwork and excellent participation from our learners. We are especially proud to report that the learners achieved an outstanding milestone, with 100% of the stock prepared for Market Day being sold. This achievement demonstrated not only the learners' entrepreneurial spirit, but also the tremendous support received from the entire school community.

The activity gave learners valuable practical experience in areas such as planning, budgeting, pricing, marketing, customer service, teamwork, sales and financial responsibility. Most importantly, learners were able to experience entrepreneurship beyond the classroom and appreciate the relationship between planning, investment, sales and business success.

Wood And Raw Primary School extends its sincere gratitude to all Grade 7 learners for their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm in making the programme successful.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the School Management Team and management of the school for supporting and creating an enabling environment for the programme. Our sincere thanks are extended to the educators who guided, supervised and encouraged the learners throughout the preparation and implementation of Market Day.

A special word of appreciation goes to our parents and guardians. Your support, encouragement, contributions and assistance in preparing the learners and their products played an important role in the success of the day.

The achievement of 100% stock sold is a reflection of what can be accomplished when learners, parents, educators and school management work together towards a common educational goal.

Congratulations to our Grade 7 learners on a successful Entrepreneurial Day!
