Edgemead Library, in collaboration with Bothasig Library, had an amazing day helping learners explore different career and study opportunities for their future.

📚The Local Author Library Tour by Library and Information Services connects communities with local authors through engaging literary experiences hosted in libraries across Cape Town.

By bringing authors and their books into library spaces, the programme supports local talent, strengthens community connections, and showcases libraries as vibrant cultural and learning hubs.

Our very own Neshni Naidoo from the Edgemead Writers Group is also in this video. On the Edge Writers is a local creative collective in Edgemead, Cape Town, known for hosting community poetry evenings and open mic sessions, often at the Edgemead Library. The group operates within the local literary scene, with event updates appearing in community news sources, while unrelated, similarly named resources include local news outlets and bookstore catalogs.
