Meet Our Guest: Sihle Maseko

Sihle Maseko is a young farmer from the Zanyokwe Irrigation Scheme in Keiskammahoek who has received support from both the Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture and ECRDA.

Through this support, he has grown his farming enterprise and built a success story that is both inspiring and motivating to young aspiring farmers.

Join us as he shares his journey, the challenges he has overcome, and how agriculture can create opportunities for young people in rural communities.

ECRDA welcomed young visitors as part of Bring Your Child to Work Day, giving them a firsthand look at the workplace and the important role ECRDA plays in driving rural development across the Eastern Cape.

As we commemorate Youth Month, the initiative provided an opportunity to inspire young minds, expose them to different career opportunities, and encourage them to dream big about their future.

It was a fun-filled and energetic day, with our young guests enjoying the chance to learn, explore, and experience the world of work firsthand.
