Join us for the Positive Masculinity Walk, led by the Honourable Acting Minister of Social Development, Sindisiwe Chikunga, in partnership with the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government, eThekwini Municipality, and Icebolethu Group.

Together, we are empowering young boys as ambassadors of change, promoting responsible masculinity, advancing gender equality, and strengthening the fight against Gender-Based Violence.

As we continue building momentum towards the Status of Women Summit – August 2026, we unite government, communities, youth, sport and social partners to create a future rooted in respect, equality, and meaningful change.

🙏🏽 The Deputy Mayor of eThekwini Municipality, Councillor Zandile Myeni, joined the official launch of the Status of Women Summit – KwaZulu-Natal at the Durban International Convention Centre.

The Summit places the empowerment, protection, and advancement of women and girls at the centre of the development agenda.

Deputy Mayor Myeni expressed full support for the initiative, highlighting it as a critical step forward in strengthening women’s voices, leadership, and economic participation across the province and the city.

Together, we are building a future where women are at the forefront of development and transformation.
