The magistrate's reasons in the Sharnick matter is so just and clear that it shows how irregular, unfair and unlawful the case against Avinash Ramkistan is and why he has deliberately not been granted bail without any chance of appeal.

Avinash Ramkistan claimed this 3 years ago, opened criminal charges, stated he would arrest them under section 42 of the Cpa and would be the first civilian to prosecute them under section 7 and 8 of the Cpa. He was arrested and silenced.

Lt Gen Mkwanazi has literally been copying his words years later. Avinash also claims to have full details of these corrupt syndicates including the police killings and kidnapping of the business woman.The family urges that Avinash be released and interviewed as he vowed to eradicate corruption prior to his arrest.

Why is this innocent soul being punished? It is because he showed no fear and took no nonsense.

Today Westville prison breached another court order to bring Avinash Ramkistan to his court appearance and deprive him of his freedom.

The family heard prosecution was not even prepared to argue. coincidence? or deliberate? Stop the games!

We are in custody of serious allegations and evidence against several officials and will soon be exposed for corruption.

Stand proud my brother Avinash Ramkistan, your ways are very fascinating and your story will be told. We do respect the sacrifices.

Remorse? For seeking the truth from corrupt officials?

Do any of you show remorse for this ridiculous sentence for someone who has no prior criminal record and has not harmed anyone til date?

Do you show remorse for not being able to provide clear and transparent answers when Avinash challenged the way you run your "Justice" system? The corruption that our country is so well known for?

You can try and paint him as a villain all you want, we see behind all this.

We see what you are trying to cover up!

During sentencing, the magistrate said Avinash Ramkistan did not show genuine remorse, despite “apologising”.

It is now more than ever that we all need to come together in support of Avinash Ramkistan.

This sentence alone shows you the flaw in our "justice" system.

Ask yourself if this is a fair sentence for someone who has done nothing but ask for answers in his fight against corruption!

A DURBAN man who threatened judicial officials and law enforcement officers with “violence”, “death” and “bloodshed” through social media was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment in the Durban Regional Court on Tuesday.

🚨 Avinash Ramkistan asked for information on Monday. By Thursday, he was under arrest. 🚨

What would you do if you followed every lawful process available to you, reported alleged corruption, requested information through legal channels, and then found yourself arrested just three days later?

The emails speak for themselves. The Judge president was asked to verify simple information which they fail. There is no threats, no evading law, infact he was trying to ensure compliance to law by all officials concerned.

Yet, just days after continuing to pursue these complaints of serious corruption, (now claimed by Lt Gen Mkwanazi), he was arrested by some of the very people and institutions he had been approaching for assistance.

Was this a coincidence, or retaliation against a citizen exercising his constitutional rights?

South Africans should ask themselves:

🔹 Should reporting alleged corruption lead to arrest?

🔹 Should requesting public information result in prosecution?

🔹 Should whistleblowers and complainants be silenced instead of heard?

Whether people agree or not is irrelevant. The principle matters. The case witnesses admitted retaliatiion. Avinash Ramkistan's intentions was not unlawful or criminal, it was very clear, a lawful process protected by law.

If citizens can be punished simply for asking questions, then every South African should be concerned.

The documents are public. The timeline is documented. The questions remain unanswered.

Months prior to the arrest of Avinash Ramkistan, the Durban High Court was intimidating him with police in the cases where he defended against Standard Bank. These policemen followed him through his day in court.

Months prior to this, he was held captive with his mother Rita Ramkistan by police at the Durban Point Court. All these are being covered up by silencing him. The man had reasons for his behavior, he did not wake up that angry all of a sudden...still think Avinash is guilty or is he the one standing up against crimes? He was not allowed access to his defence evidence in his trial.
