SANDLA SOMUSA DISABILITY ORGANISATION IN MAGABHENI WARD 99 HOSTS SUCCESSFUL DISABILITY AWARENESS PROGRAM

A remarkable event took place in Magabheni Ward 99, as the community came together to promote disability awareness. The event, which was fully supported by the Umnini Community Trust, aimed to raise awareness and promote inclusivity for people with disabilities.

The Umnini Community Trust not only sponsored the event but also made a notable appearance, with Chairperson Mr. Busani Luthuli and his entire committee in attendance, demonstrating their commitment to the cause and have announced that this event will held annually and they will be sponsoring every year.

Papa's Hope Organisation was also in attendance, bringing with them a Shoprite-sponsored truck that generously provided loaves of bread and blankets to all attendees.
Local Chief luthuli and his committee were present at this event ,Dept of Education and Dept of Health,Aids foundation SA.

Filmmakers from all over KZN will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2021 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 Short Film Corner.

For Fun, Passion or Purpose, Anyone wanting to participate can join in the fun, learn the tricks of the trade, Make their movie (or join a Team) & then get to enjoy their work on the big screen as well as on National Television 1KZNTV! Films can even be made on a mobile device so there's no excuses!

You do not need to be from the film industry, Just have the zest or calling to do so & we will take you through to the finishing line!
