The uMzinyathi District Development Agency is proud to announce the successful launch of the One Stop Shop (OSS), a milestone initiative aimed at improving service delivery and creating easier access to essential business and government support services within our district.

The OSS is designed to serve as a central hub where entrepreneurs, investors, and community members can access a wide range of services under one roof. These include business registration support, funding guidance, compliance assistance, investment facilitation, and advisory services from various key partners. By bringing together multiple stakeholders in one space, the OSS will significantly reduce red tape, improve efficiency, and promote economic growth in the district.

The uMzinyathi District was truly honoured to be graced by the presence of the of KZN EDTEA MEC Hon Rev Musa Zondi KZN EDTEA Acting DDG, the HOD’s , the District Mayor, Mayors of the Local Municipalities within the District, Amakhosi asendlunkulu , The District Councillors and Honorable Board Members of TIKZN, KZN Growth Fund and UDDA who attended in their individual capacities.

In their addresses, they all emphasized the importance of the One Stop Shop and the positive impact it is expected to have on local economic development, job creation, and empowering small businesses.

A special thank you to all our partners, Trade and Investment Kwa Zulu Natal, SARS, Labour, KZN-Growth Fund, Ithala, Tourism Grading Council, CIPC, Food and Safety Agency, uMzinyathi District Municipality, KwaZulu- Natal Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs who will be operating within the OSS and providing critical services to our community. Your collaboration and commitment are what make this initiative possible.

This launch marks the beginning of a new chapter for our district—one that is focused on accessibility, efficiency, and inclusive economic growth.
