Toorfontein has remained largely untouched, its enchanted fountain still flowing past the camp site as it has for millennia, birds and bats frequent the rock overhangs as they have been doing for thousands of years, and small game hide out in the spekboom thickets of the valley. Spend the day bird watching, hiking or just relaxing and soul searching in the peace and quiet of the mountain slopes. R
aised wooden walkways meander among the underhang of the red mountains to four permanent luxury tents and cabins set on elevated wooden decks and to the entertainment, braai area. Our accommodation blends luxury with the great outdoors. Without sacrificing nature and the beautiful surroundings, we have established breathtaking accommodation for our visitors:
2 x ensuite luxury tents with queen size beds and seperate bathroom with bath and outside shower.
1 x ensuite luxury cabin with open shower in room and seperate toilet. With king bed. Tents and cabin fully furnished and equipped with linen, towels, soap, shampoo etc. Sleeps a max of 6 people.
2 extra stretchers available for the more adventurous campers to sleep at the fire! There is a communal kitchen with all the facilities and a inside fireplace/braai as well as an outside braai entertainment area overlooking the natural beauty of the Klein Karoo.
