EARLY CLOSURE OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES DUE TO WATER AND HYGIENE CHALLENGES

Please be advised that all administrative and public-facing municipal offices will close early today at 15:30.This early closure is necessary to ensure the health, safety, and proper hygiene of staff and visitors due to current water supply challenges being experienced in the area.

Closure Time: 15:30 today

Regular operating hours (07:30 to 16:45) will resume tomorrow morning.

DANIELSKUIL POWER OUTAGE

Kgatelopele Local Municipality informs residents that the current power outage is due to an electrical fault on the Eskom supply line. Eskom is currently attending to the issue. Restoration times remain undetermined, and supply may be restored without warning.

The municipality and Eskom sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are working to ensure a safe and a speedy restoration of our electricity supply.

Day Slot: 09:00 to 16:00

Store enough water for cooking and basic hygiene.Keep all taps closed during outages to prevent flooding.Limit non-essential water use when supply is active.
