The PMCC is a well established military cycling club in the Pretoria area where like minded people get together and enjoy riding their bicycles!!

On Wednesday 2 September 2026, the PMCC held an outride at the Cradle of Humankind. 14 members attended and the venue catered for both road and mountain bike. The roadies took upbthe challenge, and completed distances ranging between 20 and 50km. The mountain bikers took on the 29km mostly single track trail. As per anny ride, there were some technical issues, some irregular dismounts and lots of tired legs by the end of the day. Afterwards, the members socialized before calling it a day. Once again, fun was had by all

WHAT A DAY!!!
ON Friday 21 August 2026 the PMSC hosted their Winter Sports Day. PMCC supported the day with a ride at their own venue at AF MDW. And what a ride it was... A club ride but with race pace. In our new club kit! First up was a one lap group ride to show the route to all participants. Thereafter, 2 laps, best pace... 21,1km of fun all around. Maj Labuschagne took 1st place among the men and Col Terblanche was the first female across the line. After the ride, members continued with maintenance at the club house while having a braai. A great day, building espirit de corps and improving our facilities. Well done to all involved

The Gauteng Regional Winter Sports Day is taking place on Friday 21 Aug 26. The emphasis of the day is mass participation and units are encouraged to enter as many teams for as many sports as possible. Thus if you are in the Gauteng region, even if you are not a member of the PMCC, you are still welcome to represent your unit in cycling tomorrow. Bring your bike and your helmet and join us at the clubhouse at Air Force Mobile Deployment Wing at 0830. For more detail contact Major Leon Greyling on 0725645906 or send a message to the group.

Saturday 15 August 2026 brought members of the PMCC together for a different reason: maintenance of our facilities.
Members cleaned the clubhouse, ablution facilities and surrounding areas, fixed doors and trimmed trees.
Another team started work on sections of the single track by cutting grass, clearing obstructions and conducting w**d control.
Whilst there is still a lot to do, our facilities are taking shape nicely and will soon again be a place to be proud of.
A big word of thanks to all involved during this activity.

On Friday 31 July 2026, 5 members of PMCC attended the Winter Games held at the SSA Sporting Facilites, Pretoria East. 4 of our riders shared the track with members of the NPA, TMPD and other State Departments. PMCC recorded 1st and 2nd Male and 1st Female of the day. However, the ride focused more on development, with riders sharing tips and tricks on bike setup, riding skills, maintenance routines, etc. The day also included two technical issues and 2 rather spectacular irregular dismounts. What a great day at the office

On Wednesday 10 June 2026, members of PMCC attended the second quarter outride at Prime View. 15 Members reported of which 13 crossed the start line. Members rode different distances according to their fitness levels, and some faced challenges like technical issues and irregular dismounts. Once again though, it was a great day on the trails.

Members from the PMCC participated in the 2026 aQuelle Tour Durban on Sunday 19 April 2026. Well done on some great rides

On Friday 17 April 2026 4 members from PMCC participated in the Interdepartmental Sports Day Cycling event in the form ofna 45km road event at Rooiwal. 39 members total participated, with Maj Allister Hare placing 8th amongst the men and Maj Hester Greyling winning the female category. Well done everyone

Pretoria Military Sport Club Regional Summer Sport Day... A fun day in the saddle for all. Distances covered varied between 18 and 33km, with riders doing their best in nice muddy conditions. Techical issues affedted two riders, but a total of 13 members completed the ride. Well done to all participants
