Letsema Campaign at Geluksoord Primary School

On 21 July 2025, members of the ANC Ward 7, led by the Branch Task Team (BTT) Coordinator Cde Moloko Mokoena and the Ward Councillor Cde Matshidiso Hossain, embarked on a Letsema Campaign at Geluksoord Primary School.

This initiative was aimed at cleaning and preparing the school environment ahead of its reopening. The campaign reflects the ANC’s ongoing commitment to community service, education, and the creation of safe and conducive learning spaces for our children.

We thank all volunteers and stakeholders who took part in this noble effort and call on more community members to join hands in building and maintaining clean, healthy public facilities.

Together, we can make a difference.

The ANC Ward 7 Branch Task Team (BTT) would like to express its deepest gratitude to all who stood in solidarity with the Selome Family during their time of mourning following the passing of our beloved father, stalwart, and veteran of the movement, Comrade Veja.

We sincerely thank:

Churches and church leaders,

ANC members and supporters,

for your unwavering support from the moment the sad news broke. Your presence in prayer, emotional comfort, and acts of service made a meaningful difference to the family and to us all.

We further thank all members and supporters who accompanied the Ward 7 BTT on the 24th of June to pay homage at the Selome home. Your unity and discipline reflected the values Comrade Veja stood for.

A special thank you to everyone who contributed and supported the Memorial Service on 25 June, organized by ANC Ward 7 BTT in honour of our fallen hero.

We are also deeply grateful to the Selome Family for opening their home and hearts, and for allowing us the honour of celebrating the life and legacy of Comrade Veja.

Lastly, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who supported the family on the day of the funeral, 28 June 2025, through their presence and service.
