As Tata Nelson Mandela so profoundly reminded us, “ is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

The Petroleum Agency SA opened the year 2026 by participating in a on the 14th of January 2026, to provide full to from both Nyanyadu Primary and Ingabade High Schools.

The event was led by the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMPR), in partnership with SOEs, Mining and Petroleum Companies, in Chester Farm at Dannhauser, KwaZulu-Natal Province.

Through this initiative, we seek to uphold the dignity and pride of our learners. When learners feel confident, presentable, and valued, it positively influences their self-esteem, commitment to learning, and overall psychological well-being, which ultimately strengthens their desire to attend school and succeed.

Petroleum Agency SA ( ) is participating in the 1st Maritime Forward Africa Conference hosted by the Maritime Business Chamber, currently underway at Innovation City, Darter Studio in Cape Town (3–5 November 2025).

The Agency is proudly represented by Adv. Ebrahim Hendricks, Njabulo Mdlalose, and Ruth Mtshali. Adv. Hendricks is also taking part in a panel discussion on “The Role of Oil & Gas in the Economic Development of the African Economy.”

The conference brings together industry leaders, MSMEs, and youth to explore opportunities within Africa’s growing Maritime Economy, fostering meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and innovation across the sector.
