BREAKING THE SILENCE: A Conversation on Su***de Awareness & Prevention
As we approach World Su***de Prevention Day in September, we’re creating space for an important conversation about something we are increasingly seeing in our counselling spaces: suicidal ideation and suicidality.
Join The Counselling Hub for an open and honest discussion bringing together different perspectives from the mental health field:
🗣️ One of our student registered counsellors
🧠 Tracy Feinstein from SADAG
🤝🏼 A representative from Lifeline Western Cape
Together, we’ll explore the increase in suicide-related concerns being seen at The Counselling Hub and across the broader mental health sector, what this can look like in counselling, how professionals can recognise the signs, and most importantly, how we can respond with care, compassion and appropriate support.
This is a conversation about recognising the signs, breaking the silence and strengthening our collective response to people who may be struggling.
