With daylight fading and winds picking up, the Leading Edge Aviation Blackhawk was tasked to Medevac a critically injured Fire Fighter from Clanwilliam to Christian Barnard Memorial hospital last night.

Working together with Leading Edge Aviation, WCDM Fire, Western Cape Emergency Medical and Rescue Services, South African Paramedic Services who jointly managed all the logistics while we were in the air.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Fire Fighter, his family and friends and we wish him a speedy recovery.
