🚨Safety Alert!!!!

Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is a viral zoonotic disease caused by the monkeypox virus. It is characterized by a rash, fever, headache, muscle aches, and swollen lymph nodes. The disease is transmitted through close contact with infected animals, humans, or contaminated materials. Mpox is less severe than smallpox but can still lead to serious health complications. Prevention includes vaccination, avoiding contact with infected individuals or animals, and practicing good hygiene.

📢 Yesterday marked my first day supporting our dedicated community activists since the elections on May 29th. Despite our initial disappointment, we conducted a thorough assessment and felt optimistic about our progress. With around 30 volunteers, we managed to secure 1,000 votes, although the DA won with 4,000 votes.

Our community engagement, especially door-to-door efforts, showed promise. Over the past two months, we've seen significant involvement. Competing against four parties, we finished third, with the DA leading and Al-Jama-ah second.

We're learning valuable lessons on uniting parties against the DA under our leadership. The commitment to establish an ANC branch and convert our 1,000 supporters into members was truly heartwarming. We also provided support to three families who lost everything in a fire, thanks to the generous donations of blankets, food, and Korbani meat.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and showed up. Together, we are stronger! 💪
