Edgemead CID Update

Thank you to all Edgemead property owners who shared feedback during the recent public commentary period! Your input reflects the strong community spirit that defines our suburb.

After reviewing your comments, the Edgemead CID Steering Committee has decided to relaunch the Urban Management Survey (UMS). This is a proactive step to ensure more informed, detailed, and inclusive feedback from all property owners.

This renewed effort will help us better understand your priorities and concerns, and will guide updates to the proposed City Improvement District (CID) business plan.

Stay tuned – full details on the updated survey process will be shared soon.

Together, we’re shaping a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant Edgemead!

For clarification regarding the presentation of the Draft Business Plan at the meeting on 28 August 2025 :

Following this meeting, the local community will have a 30-day period to submit comments and input on the business plan. All feedback received will be compiled into a schedule and annexed to the final version of the business plan.

This final plan will then be presented at a second public meeting, after which the Consent/Objection period will commence. During this phase, each property owner will have the opportunity to formally record their decision, either in support of or in objection to the initiative or to abstain.

It is important to note that each property owner's recorded decision will contribute to the overall outcome.

It is not a vote but a written submission which will be verified by CID management .
