At Good Things Guy we believe in Good News but we also cannot ignore what is going on in South Africa.

The country is burning, women are being murdered & children are being kidnapped.

But that was just today!!!!

And yet the President remains silent.

In light of this, we are also going silent for the next 48 hours. We will not be publishing any good news and our site has been taken over by this photo.

We may be going silent but we also have a call-to-action.

Click here to sign the petition and tell the President that he needs to do something about the crime in South Africa TODAY: http://chng.it/RNcVJzXc

Request from Lindy: Please can everyone take a minute to sign this petition to deny bail to hijackers who attempted to hijack a local Fish Hoek resident on 13 August 2019 (SAPS Fish Hoek cas 94/08/2019). As we all know so many of these criminals out on bail throw all caution to the wind and commit violent crimes even before they appear in court for their earlier crimes, the recent brutal murder of surfer David Wolfromm at Witsand is a case in point. The accused are applying for bail in less than a week so your signature is needed urgently. Thank you.

DENY BAIL SIGNATURES REQUIRED BEFORE 5TH OF SEPTEMBER 2019 PLEASE DENY BAIL

Today, 100 years ago the the Armistice to end the First World War was signed. Become curious, know the facts, and then make an informed decision. And then, we could perhaps have a community farm in Welcome Glen, even with baboons!

“The only reason people do not know much is because they do not care to know. They are incurious. Incuriousity is the oddest and most foolish failing there is.”
― Stephen Fry, The Fry Chronicles

Recently I presented to a group of community members in the South Peninsula of Cape Town a plan to install a market garden on community land next to a school to both connect children to where their food actually come from and to service the community with fresh vegetables on a daily basis in their n...
