📚✨ What a wonderful way to celebrate International Literacy Day!

Today, we hosted a Shapes Spelling Bee at a special needs educare centre that specializes in supporting children with autism. We thought we had plenty of time for the competition, but the children had other plans! 😄

Within just a few minutes, they were spelling shapes and naming colours like true champions. 🔺🔵🟨 Their knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm left us amazed.

It was a special and remarkable day filled with learning, laughter, and many proud moments. These bright young stars reminded us that learning comes in all shapes and colours! 🌈⭐

Die boekbekendstelling vind plaas op Donderdag, 10 September 2026 vanaf 12:00 by Bellville Biblioteek. Plekke is beperk en belangstellendes word aangemoedig om vooraf hul plek te bespreek.

Die Vriende van Bellville Biblioteek se Afrikaanse Boekverkoping het vandag begin! Moenie dit misloop nie.
Daar is ‘n fees van Afrikaanse fiksie van krimi’s tot lekkerleesfiksie, ook digbundels, biografieë, politiek, geestelike leesstof en geskiedenis. Al die boeke is in goeie toestand en baie billik geprys.
Die verkoping, in die foyer van die Biblioteeksentrum in Carel van Aswegenstraat, is oop van Vrydag, 4 – 30 September gedurende gewone biblioteekure. Slegs kontantverkope is moontlik, tensy vooraf anders gereël. 📚📚📚📚🌟🌟🔥
