Hi everyone 👋🏽
This Saturday, 19 September, we’re bringing the community together for a Community Upliftment Day at Queen’s Park High School, Woodstock from 9:00am–4:00pm.

There will be something for the whole family — Health & Wellness activities, a Youth Empowerment Expo, a Kids Fun Zone, opportunities to connect with community organisations, and more.

💙 This is about more than one event. It’s about getting to know one another, connecting residents to support and opportunities, and building a stronger Woodstock community together.

Please come through, bring your family, invite a neighbour and share the poster in your street and community groups.
Our community becomes stronger when residents participate. Let’s show up for Woodstock. 💙

See you there! 🙌🏽

WOODSTOCK IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST NEIGHBORHOOD IN CAPE TOWN ACCORDING TO THE BROOKLYN OF LIST

And right behind it? Observatory at #2!
International travel guide Brooklyn Of has named Woodstock the coolest neighbourhood in Cape Town, with our very own Observatory taking the runner-up position.

Woodstock was recognised for exactly what makes it special, its street art, markets, coffee roasteries, galleries, independent businesses and that unmistakable creative energy running through it. Observatory was recognised for its own growing creative scene, Lower Main Road, live music, cafés and youthful energy.

But this is about more than a cool title.
International recognition puts our neighbourhoods in front of travellers from around the world. And when visitors choose to explore Woodstock and Obs, they eat in our restaurants, buy from our shops, visit our markets, stay locally and support the entrepreneurs and people who make these communities what they are.

Tourism doesn't only happen at Table Mountain and the Waterfront.

Increasingly, travellers want to experience the real character of a city and the world is starting to notice what we've known for a long time.

Two incredible neighbourhoods. One very special part of Cape Town. And we're only getting started.

Let’s go! The Work Ain’t Over Yet!
