Donate Sanitary Pads and Toiletries with Andy ( Andiswa Sigadla)

Yesterday I was invited to a program of giving More than 100 Sanitary Pads and toiletries to the students of Nomnqophiso Primary School.

This is an ongoing program which will criss-cross all Schools in Strand , championed by a very vibrant and active young lady

Fun Walk

with Councillor Xolani Diniso in commemorating Human Rights Day

South Africans celebrates Human Rights Day on 21 March to remember sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for the attainment of democracy in South Africa.

Ward 86 will have 5 km Fun Walk as the symbol of appreciating the sacrifices made by people who fought against the pass laws.

The Ward 86 councilor invite everyone to this historical 5km Fun Walk Program..

Refreshments will be served by the office of Ward 86 councilor for FREE, MAHALA, FELEFELE

Youth workshop

Today we invite young people of Ward 86 to a two days ( 16-17 March) Workshop that will address the social ills which affects young people in general.

We will have presentations from different entities of Government to also present what programs do they have for young people of ward 86

The program starts at 10am-15h00pm Community Hall

Date 16-17 March 2023

Catering, Bags and USBs will be provided for free to 120 young people to be able to store their documents such as CV

Tomorrow I will be leading from the front as we will be joining the athletes.

Everyone is invited to join the fun run. The registration will start at 5h30am outside Lwandle Sportfield.

Lwandle Sportfield Updrade

During the election campaign I had a series of Consultation and meetings with the Sport Fraternity leadership in Ward 86. One of their concerns was about the state of the Sportfield infrastructure which was detoriating in a very face pace.

They demanded the following:

1. better toilet facilities
2. Sportfield to well fenced
3. Entrance gates for Vehicles
4. Pedestrians Gates
5. Proper Changing Rooms

As the Councillor of the people I have listen to their demands that seek to give life to our Artificial Sportfield which is the legacy of 2010 Fifa World cup, we have put aside R285.000 from ward 86 2023/2024 Ward allocation to address all the above demands from the Sport Fraternity.

I have signed the control documents that give the responsible line Department a go ahead to fix what is broken and install what is not there at Lwandle Sportfield.
