🎉🧸 World Play Day Celebration 🧸🎉

The library celebrated World Play Day with a fun-filled morning of play, learning, and laughter at the Civic Centre Hall. Five ECD crèches attended the event, where learners enjoyed free play with a variety of toys before taking part in exciting group activities, including Musical Chairs, Relay Races, Egg Racing, and Hoola Hoop Toss.

The event highlighted the importance of play in supporting children's creativity, social development, and learning. Thank you to all the learners, teachers, and facilitators who helped make the day a wonderful success!

🎉🎲 World Play Day 2026 🎲🎉

What a wonderful morning of fun, laughter, and friendly competition! Our Senior Games Day brought together 40 residents for an exciting celebration of World Play Day.

Residents tested their musical knowledge in Name That Tune, connected with one another through People’s Bingo, showcased their acting skills during Charades, and challenged their memories with a Trivia Quiz. Congratulations to all our prize winners and thank you to everyone who participated with such enthusiasm and good spirit.

A special thank you to all staff who helped make the day a success. 💙

🎉🧸 World Play Day at the Library 🧸🎉

The library celebrated World Play Day with a fun-filled morning attended by 35 learners. Learners enjoyed free play, exploring a variety of toys and games provided by the library. The excitement continued with structured group activities, including Musical Chairs and Simon Says, which encouraged teamwork, listening skills, and plenty of laughter.

It was wonderful to see the children learning, socialising, and having fun through play. The event highlighted the importance of play in supporting creativity, confidence, and healthy development.
