CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF AMAHLE (NGQENTSU) Jwele, DAUGHTER OF COMRADE BENSON NGQENTSU, SACP WESTERN CAPE PROVINCIAL SECRETARY

Dear Comrades,

It is with a deep sense of sadness that the South African Communist Party in the Western Cape conveys the passing of Amahle (Ngqentsu) Jwele, the beloved daughter of Comrade Benson Ngqentsu, Provincial Secretary of the SACP in the Western Cape.

Amahle was confirmed to have passed away on Monday, 6 April 2026.

On behalf of the Provincial Executive Committee, all districts, branches, and the entire membership of our Party in the province, we extend our sincerest condolences to Comrade Benson Ngqentsu, his family, relatives, friends, and all who are mourning this tragic loss.

The loss of a child is a profound tragedy that no parent or family should have to endure. In this time of immense sorrow, we urge all comrades to support Comrade Benson and his family with compassion, solidarity, and support. . We hope they can draw strength from the collective love of the movement and find solace in knowing that the entire Party stands with them during this challenging period.

As the SACP in the Western Cape, we lower our revolutionary banner in honour of Amahle's memory and reaffirm our unwavering support for the Ngqentsu family as they navigate the profound loss of their daughter.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

South African Communist Party Brian Bunting District Red Brigades in Dunoon – Ward 104 in the City of Cape Town on our final push – led by CC Member Cde Barry James Mitchell , Provincial Chairperson Cde Anthony, Provincial Spokesperson Cde Lizwi Gegula , NEHAWU Deputy Provincial Secretary Cde Zukisan Mabengu, Brian Bunting District Secretary Cde Monde Nqulwana , District Treasurer Cde Nontombi Ncediwe , and District Deputy Secretary Cde Disang Mocumi , together with Provincial Revolutionary Election Team members Cde Cobby Greef, Cde Kholeka Rakaota, and Cde Lusindiso Sixishe , Bahle Mqoto and cde Kumeke Mabatho as Cde Masi Bobo together with our Candidate cde Eric Mxeleli Mtheli, embarked on an intensive weekend election campaign

14 March 2026 Brian Bunting District Red Brigades led by CC member cde Magaxa together with Provincial Chairperson cde Anthony Dietrich and PEC members cde Mnconywa and cde Komeni off course DEC members embarked on a Door to Door Campaign and voter contact in Siyahlala Squatter camp Dunoon Ward 104 covering Sophakama and Dunoon primary VDs. Through our Know and Act in Your Neighborhood Campaign in Dunoon- Ekupholeni/Ebaleni Squatter camp the SACP Red brigades came across a long standing problem of sewer blockage that has been neglected by the GNU forces. We can confidently confirm that as committed our pressure and presence in the area is yielding some direction. We will work with that community until permanent solution is found. It can't be normal that our communities are neglected by these GNU partners, not now not anymore. 25 March 2025

Today mark 15 days left to the 25 March by-election in Ward 104, SACP Red Brigades led by the Western Cape Provincial Secretary and the District Secretary embarked on history voter contact and canvassing in Site 5 Squattercamp, at the same time unveiled the SACP’s poster with our Candidate’s name and photo.
As movement towards this history moment people of ward 104 are responding positively to the SACP campaign.
