Remedial Class at Boikutlo Primary School
Boikutlo Primary School is proud to highlight the progress and impact of its dedicated Remedial Class, an initiative established in 2023 to support learners who were progressed or retained in the previous academic year.
The class was created to provide focused academic assistance, encouragement, and structured support to learners who required additional guidance to strengthen their foundation. Since its establishment, the school has witnessed remarkable improvement and growth. Many of the learners who were once part of the Remedial Class have successfully progressed and are now attending high school, demonstrating the effectiveness of the programme.
The vision for the Remedial Class continues to expand. The school aims to develop the programme to a level where learners are not only supported academically but are also empowered to listen, reflect, and share their personal learning journeys. By creating opportunities for learners to tell their stories, the school fosters confidence, self-awareness, and resilience.
The integration of technology is seen as a valuable tool in achieving these goals. Through the use of digital resources and innovative teaching methods, learners can better engage with content, improve comprehension, and enhance their overall learning experience.
The Remedial Class operates under the capable supervision and leadership of our esteemed educator, Mrs Nozililo Suzan Mofokeng, whose dedication and commitment continue to inspire both learners and colleagues alike.
Boikutlo Primary School remains committed to ensuring that every learner is given a fair opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.

Boikutlo Primary School Golf Tournament a Remarkable Success.
Boikutlo Primary School recently hosted a thrilling and well-organised Golf Tournament that brought together players for a day filled with competition, sportsmanship, and celebration. The atmosphere was vibrant as golfers showcased their talent and passion for the game.
The competition was fiercely contested, with Phillip Rapulane delivering an outstanding performance to score 40 points. He was closely followed by Pogisho Mahloko, who also secured 40 points but placed after a count-out, and Wondis Mokolutlo, who equally achieved 40 points and was decided by count-out as well. Their performances truly demonstrated determination and skill on the course.
The excitement did not end there, as the rest of the players also went home with prizes, ensuring that everyone felt appreciated for their participation and effort. In addition, two lucky winners were drawn, adding an extra element of surprise and joy to the event.
The tournament was a true reflection of unity, excellence, and community spirit at Boikutlo Primary School. It was indeed a memorable day that celebrated both competition and camaraderie.

Boikutlo Primary School Hosts Awareness Visit on Learner Safety and Discipline
Boikutlo Primary School was honoured to host SGT S.R Mooi during the morning parade, accompanied by key stakeholders committed to learner development and community safety. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to promote a safe, disciplined, and supportive learning environment.
SGT S.R Mooi was joined by Sekese LA, Ntamo MM, Marumo MG, and Liphoko MA from the Dr ML Maile Development Center, as well as Mosolodi MH and Mocoancoeng ME from the Bokamoso Rehab Center. Their presence highlighted the importance of collaboration between the school and community stakeholders in addressing challenges faced by learners.
During the session, learners from Grades 4 to 7 were addressed on critical issues affecting schools and surrounding communities. The discussion focused on problematic crime around school premises, including bullying, substance abuse, absenteeism, carrying of cellphones at school, theft, and gangsterism.
The speakers emphasised the importance of making responsible choices, respecting school rules, and understanding the long-term consequences of negative behaviour. Learners were encouraged to report incidents, support one another, and become positive role models within the school and the broader community.
Boikutlo Primary School extends its sincere appreciation to SGT S.R Mooi and all stakeholders for their valuable time and guidance. Together, we remain committed to nurturing disciplined, responsible, and well-rounded learners in a safe educational environment.
