BATHO MOVEMENT CONDUCTS OVERSIGHT VISIT TO KGWASA FARM

Acting Secretary General Cde Taylor & incoming HOD Elections & National Organiser Cde Godfrey Williams

As part of the Batho Movement's 100-Day Councillor Candidate Community Assessment Programme, Acting Secretary Richard Taylor and incoming Head of Elections & National Organiser Godfrey Williams led a fact-finding visit to Kgwasa Farm to assess the living conditions of residents and engage directly with the community.

The visit formed part of the Movement's commitment to ensuring that public representatives remain connected to the realities faced by ordinary people. During the engagement, concerns relating to housing conditions, access to basic services, employment opportunities, water supply, sanitation, and overall quality of life were observed and discussed with residents.

The delegation reaffirmed the Batho Movement's belief that effective leadership begins with listening to the people and understanding their daily challenges firsthand. The findings from the visit will contribute to the Movement's community development agenda and inform practical interventions aimed at improving the lives of residents.

Batho Movement remains committed to building communities that are safe, dignified, and prosperous through people-centred leadership and accountable governance.
