ANCWL Young Women’s Desk Joe Gqabi Region Voter Registration Campaign.

The YWD Joe Gqabi region held a voter registration campaign as led by YWD Convenor Cde Unathi Hlathuka and Coordinator Cde Thembeka Damane in Ward 9 Maletswai ,Walter Sisulu Subregion. The YWD together with the ANCWL, ANC Volunteers, ANCYL and SANCO encouraged citizens to actively take part in their democracy by registering and casting a decisive vote for the ANC on the 4th of November Local Government Elections.

The Young Women’s Desk accompanied by the ANCWL RTT Cde Nozie Mtyali and WL Members partook on the Mandela Day 67 minutes campaign by donating groceries at Ikhaya Lokhanyo Children’s Home in Ward 15, Ekhepini.

The team further went to do a soup kitchen to children and community members in Maroyini settlements and door to door to register new voters.

ANCWL JOE GQABI REGION YOUNG WOMENS DESK LAUNCH

The ANCWL YWD Joe Gqabi Region is currently hosting their regional launch at Entokozweni Hall in ward 2, Elundini Subregion following the recent appointments by the Provincial Structure.

The launch is aimed at reviving the YWD to mobilise, capacitate and engage young women in the region between the ages of
18-40 years old. The YWD serves as a political home and grooming ground for the next generation of female leaders within the organisation and the country.
