*DESTEA reopens online applications--MSMEs support incentives*
The DESTEA has recently published an online funding incentive for Free State Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and Cooperatives.
However, due to the demand and prioritizing government commitment to leave NO one behind, the Free State MEC for Finance, Economic Development, and Tourism, Ketso Makume has extended the online applications in a form of the second phase for funding incentives from 11 September to 21 September 2025.
The reopening of online incentive applications by 10 days is informed by a need to provide financial and non financial support for the Free State businesses to remain sustainable and acquire production equipment and machinery to create much needed jobs.
To apply, please click on the following link: https://client.fsdestea.kwantu.me
N.B. Online applications can ONLY be done on laptops and desktop computers. Mobile, smartphones, and tablets are not supported.
Users who registered during the previous funding window period can use their existing credentials to log into the application system.
If a user has applied for a specific application in the previous funding phase, the user may not apply for the same incentive again because the system will automatically reject a duplicate application.
Users are encouraged to ensure that their enterprise registration forms are completed BEFORE attempting to create an application. Furthermore, if a user's enterprise has already been registered, it can be linked by using the ID number.
Users are urged to select the correct incentive, check the qualifying criteria, and prepare the required documents before applying.
Users should refrain from applying for multiple incentives.
