Wonderful day at very a successful Harcourt Applefest today. Many of our branch members joined Jacinta Allan , Maree Edwards MP and Lisa Chesters MP to demonstrate support for the Harcourt community.

There didn't seem to be any Liberal, National or One Nation people there to show support for a community so recently devastated by bushfire!

Regional Victoria is leading the nation in jobs growth!

As of December, 5,800 more Victorians found work in regional areas, the highest jobs growth of any state, taking total regional employment to 822,000 jobs. Unemployment remains low at 3.4%, proving Labor’s plan is delivering real opportunities across our regions.

Labor gets Victoria working – especially in our communities outside the city. 💪

Country Labor are celebrating 10 incredible Pride events and festivals receiving over $120,100 in funding supporting community-led celebrations across Geelong, Gippsland, Shepparton, Latrobe, Wangaratta and beyond.

These events create safe, inclusive spaces, bring people together and make sure Pride belongs everywhere, not just in the city.

Great to be in Shepparton this weekend for the Northern Regional Forum - Walking Forward Together

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success from the organisers and volunteers to those who attended and to the outstanding speakers who shared their insights on treaty, housing, skills, industry and the environment.

It was especially powerful to hear from leaders including Senator Jana Stewart, Andy Garrett inaugural CEO of the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria, Julijana Todorovic Labor for Housing, Lindy Nieuwenhuizen CEO Commitee for Shepparton and Christine Grundy from Labor Enviroment Network along with local leadership from Cayla Fin, Shepparton Branch President.

Regional voices matter. The conversations we had will help shape stronger policy, better advocacy, and real outcomes for communities across country Victoria.
