Should companies use your personal data to charge you more than other shoppers?

I voted to stop businesses from using your online activity and personal information to set prices.

What you pay shouldn't depend on how much a company knows about you.

Every child deserves the opportunity to become a strong reader. I’m proud our bipartisan Science of Reading legislation is now law, helping Michigan students develop the skills they need to thrive.

By listening to educators, working across party lines, and focusing on what’s best for students, we turned a shared goal into action.

The ability to read well creates opportunities that last a lifetime.

I’m working to make housing more affordable by cutting property taxes and fees, making it easier to build, and preventing large corporations from buying up single-family homes in bulk.

New laws are opening the door to more housing options and giving families more ways to stay in their homes during tough times.

I want Michigan to be a place where families can afford to live, work, and put down roots for generations to come.

Two people can shop online for the same product and see different prices because an algorithm has analyzed their location, browsing history, or purchasing habits.

I voted to stop companies from using your personal data to determine how much you pay. You deserve fair, transparent pricing, not a higher price because a big corporation thinks you’ll spend more.

Thank you to Michigan Works Southwest for the conversation and tour. They connect people with career training and employment opportunities while helping local employers find the skilled workers they need. I’m proud to support state investments like the Going PRO Talent Fund which helps develop the skills Michigan’s economy needs.

When people have opportunities to build careers and provide for their families, our entire community benefits.

I secured a bipartisan plan to protect Medicaid for those who need it most.
