On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Riverfront North Partnership’s Fish Fest at the Frankford Boat Launch. I joined Councilmember Mike Driscoll and folks from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. It was a fun day along the river that included free kayaking, fishing, and many other activities. Thank you to Riverfront North for putting on this wonderful event that encourages folks to use our rivers and how to be safe while doing so!

Today begins Pride Month, a month-long celebration and recognition of the LGBTQ+ community. During these times where LGBTQ+ people’s rights and humanity are under attack, it’s important that we stand with them and continue to fight for a fair and inclusive world for our LGBTQ+ family, friends, and neighbors.

Data centers aren't just coming, they're already here. While we all want Pennsylvania to continue to be a leader in innovation and job creation, it is important that we are protecting our residents from rate increases and environmental consequences in the process.

Earlier this week, Riverfront North Partnership held their annual Spring Fling. I was proud to stand alongside my colleagues Senator Joe Picozzi and Councilmember Mike Driscoll to present a $500,000 check for the Tacony Boat Launch construction. We even had a visit from Mayor Cherelle L. Parker!

Our communities are so fortunate to have such a focused and dedicated organization in Riverfront North Partnership, always doing amazing work to make our waterfront beautiful and accessible for all of us!
