This week, I got to visit with two of our local Catholic Housing and Community Services senior housing communities, St. Francis Villa and Nativity BVM Place. My staff and I were onsite helping with SEPTA Senior Key Card Renewals, Property Tax/Rent Rebates, Drivers License Renewals, and so much more! But most of all, it was great for me to be able to spend time with local seniors and talk with them about what's important to them and their communities, and how I can continue to serve them in Harrisburg and at home!

I was happy to join my colleagues Councilmember Mike Driscoll, City Commissioner Lisa Deeley, Christy Brady, Philadelphia City Controller , and City Commissioner Seth Bluestein for the Between the Ballots Summer Voter Engagement Series at the 6th Council District Office of the Philadelphia City Commissioners!

Voting in EVERY election is important, so make sure you are registered and that you have a plan to vote, whether it's by mail, in person on November 3rd, or you can vote early at one of your local Satellite Election Offices.

Please note that starting August 21, the ramp from Bridge Street to northbound I-95 will be permanently closed to reconstruct the viaduct over Bridge and Tacony streets along with the adjacent sections of the interstate.

Another GREAT National Night Out in the books! I got to visit events hosted by the 15th, 24th, and 26th Police Districts and their PDACs, and it was wonderful to see so many neighbors out enjoying their community!

This event brings me so much joy because I get to watch year after year of neighbors having the opportunity to build stronger relationships with our Philadelphia Police Department while having a great time!

It also had the opportunity to present some awards to some fantastic officers and volunteers in the 15th district along with my friend and colleague Councilmember Jim Harrity!
