Presser Listening Library A Branch of the Paley Library at Temple University We do not circulate our materials to students; they are for use in the library only.

The Presser Listening Library is a branch of Temple’s Paley Library, located in Presser Hall on Temple’s main campus. Our library is home to over 10,000 records, 9,000 CDs, 1,300 scores, 200 videorecordings, 500 recordings of Boyer College ensembles, and 200-300 books. We have listening stations equipped with turntables and CD players, viewing stations for video and DVD recordings, ipad stations for streaming audio, and six computer stations for listening databases. We are steadily converting our record collection to mp3 format for use within the library and our music classrooms. Our mission is to provide students with a space where they can listen to and study music in any number of formats. Our space has wifi capabilities for those who are members of Temple University. Our computer and ipad stations are designed as streaming audio stations and/or video viewing stations. For this reason, most of our computers have restricted internet access in order to provide a designated listening space for students. For general internet browsing, there are many open computers located in the Paley Library, Tuttleman Learning Center and the Tech Center.
