Thank you for being a supportive wife, a loving mother, and a woman of faith whose actions reflect God’s love. Your kindness and the lives you have touched without seeking recognition are a testament to your beautiful heart.

Today, I joined friends and family to celebrate the Paramount Ruler of Ibiono Ibom LGA, His Royal Majesty Okuku (Dr.) Ime Udousoro Inyang, JP, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Having worked closely with you over decades, I can attest to your love, commitment, and passion for God and your people. Your reign has brought peace, stability, and progress to our land.

Our dear father, as you reach this remarkable milestone, I wish you good health, a long life, strength, and the grace and peace of God as we continue to benefit from your selfless service to our community.

Congratulations to beneficiaries of our Scholarship Programme who have completed their programmes and have been inducted into the medical profession today.

We believe they will make a significant impact locally and globally as they kick-start their career in one of the most reputable professions on earth.

In 2016, through my Constituency Office, we launched a Scholarship Scheme, which has seen 481 sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom supported to incline academically.

Dr. Queen Ita, Favour Nkanta, Unyime Jackson, Mkpouto Akan, Mfreke Udo, Goodnews Edet, and others, continue to be good ambassadors of the scheme and create a sustainable impact in your communities.

Today, I joined associates, friends and well-wishers to bid farewell to a patriotic Akwa Ibom son.

I deeply condole with the entire family as well as the good people of Okobo Local Government Area on the demise of our Leader and Mentor, Chief Jerry Okpo.

His departure remains a shock to me as a person and the entire members of Akwa UbokAbasi Campaign Organisation which he was the indefatigable Chairman of our Elders Advisory Council, and a great believer in our collective dreams of a united and prosperous Akwa Ibom State.

His love for the people of Oro Nation was unparalleled and he stood by his beliefs and convictions till death for which I am proud of the strength of character he showed while alive.

As we mourn this great loss, let us also celebrate his antecedents and successes in his various endeavors.

I enjoin his dearest wife, the children, the entire family and even all of us he left behind to look forward to taking this baton to the finishing line by living a meaningful life of service and impact that will make the world a better place. This I believe will make our departed champion/hero happy in Heaven where he is right now.

I pray for God’s divine guidance and protection for the entire family in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

Today, members of the Akwa Ubok Abasi Political Structure and Young Progressives Party (YPP),Akwa Ibom State, made a firm statement, pledging to align with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to foster collaboration and support for the administration of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

As the servant-leader of the political structure, I align myself with the yearnings and aspirations of the people and their collective desire to see a much-improved society devoid of biases.

I sincerely thank my leader, boss, and President of the Nigerian Senate, His Excellency Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio,and his dear wife, Her Excellency, Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, for the warm reception accorded the Akwa Ubok Abasi/ YPP family . We pledge to work with him to ensure the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu's administration to accelerate the development of Akwa Ibom people and Nigerians by extension.

I also commend the Akwa Ubok Abasi/ YPP Akwa Ibom state structure for staying focused on its core mandate since we began the journey for the emancipation of Akwa Ibom people.

The year 2024 has dawned upon us, and I am filled with gratitude to witness this new beginning. Through every challenge, we have been upheld by unwavering and unyielding faithfulness of God.

May this New Year bring you the warmth of hope, the embrace of love, and the guiding light to steer you towards a positive destination. As we embrace this fresh start, remember that every end marks a new beginning. Let us keep our spirits and determination unshaken, for it is through courage, faith, and concerted effort that we shall achieve all that we aspire for. Happy New Year to you all.

I extend my profound gratitude to the remarkable individuals who have stood alongside us throughout this arduous journey. Your unflagging support and steadfast belief in our cause have been a wellspring of inspiration and warmth. Your dedication and resilience have been unwavering, and for that, I am truly thankful.

Just yesterday, we received the verdict from the Supreme Court, the highest court in our land, regarding the governorship election. While the outcome may not have aligned with our hopes, I want to assure each and every one of you that our faith in God remains resolute. You are the guiding stars who recognized the promise in our political journey and embarked upon this path of faith. Let us continue to march forward, fueled by the principles of justice, fairness, and progress. Together, let us embrace the opportunities that lie ahead and continue to hope on God for a better future.

I firmly believe that in every setback, lies an opportunity for greater things. Our journey was never solely about Senator Bassey Albert ; it was about the unwavering belief that we deserve the very best in governance and leadership. Despite the hurdles we encountered, including my sojourn in prison, we leave the outcome in the hands of God, knowing that He has a greater plan for us and for the great people of Akwa Ibom State. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, and his government on their victory. Reflecting on the Journey, Travail , Progress and Unity: A Message to the Good People of Akwa Ibom State.

My dear Fellow Citizens of Akwa Ibom State, As we come together to celebrate the joyous Christmas season, I will not stop giving God thanks for His overwhelming grace upon my life and also will not fail to extend my warmest wishes and heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you.

This season is not only a time of reflection and joy, but also a moment to acknowledge the benevolence of our God and His mighty works in our lives as well as the resilience and strength that unites us as a people.

This year holds special significance for me as we commemorate the anniversary of my politically motivated sojourn in the Ikot Ekpene Correctional Centre , While the circumstances that led me there were unjust, and the challenges I faced were undoubtedly difficult, I must thank the Almighty God for the strength he provided for us in that time and for the joy found in the midst of adversity. Instead of succumbing to negativity, this experience was an opportunity to open our eyes to the struggles of those around us.

That experience served as a further catalyst for my commitment to fighting for the rights of those who cannot fight for themselves - to be a voice for the voiceless, a servant for justice, and a tireless advocate for the well-being of our fellow citizens.

As we gather with our loved ones during this festive season, let us take a moment to reflect on the progress we have made and the challenges that lie ahead. The work is not complete. Our journey towards a better Akwa Ibom continues, and we must remain steadfast in our commitment to building a community where every citizen is valued and protected.
