Last week, alongside the 7th Indo-German Inter-Governmental Consultations, a Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) was signed between the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and DAAD India (DWIH New Delhi), marking the first public Indo-German partnership focusing on collaboration between and at higher education institutions and institutions in both countries.

This cooperation aims to strengthen innovation and incubation ecosystems via exchange programmes and knowledge sharing between policymakers, incubators, and startups from both nations.
The importance of this cooperation was also highlighted in the joint declaration of the Indo-German Intergovernmental Consultations, where both the Governments expressed their desire to initiate an Indo-German Innovation and Incubation Exchange Programme.

We are looking forward to working with Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and thank our partner network in India and Germany for their support in reaching this milestone.
